When to Visit
The best time to visit Mfuwe Lodge in South Luangwa National Park is during the dry season, from May to October. This period offers the best wildlife viewing opportunities as animals congregate around water sources. Specifically, May to July offers pleasantly cool evenings, while October and November provide the strongest wildlife viewing but can be uncomfortably hot, especially at night. The lodge is open year-round, but game viewing is generally less concentrated during the green season.
