When to Visit South Luangwa National Park
The best time to visit Croc Valley Camp is during the dry season (June to October), particularly September and October. This period offers the best wildlife viewing opportunities as animals congregate around water sources as they dry up, and the vegetation thins out, making animals easier to spot.
Croc Valley Camp is open year-round, and the "Emerald Season" (November to March) also has its own unique appeal with lush greenery and baby animals.
